alejandro   Alejandro Macias Svede
Northern Michigan University
Biology major

I was born in Spain but moved to the USA three years ago to get my bachelor’s degree. I love traveling and last summer I volunteered in Ecuador working with Andean bears and condors.

I am also very interested in both botany and mycology, and will be working on the plant communities, and ectomycorrhizal fungi across a previously established elevation gradient.
